Scholarship Information

The Oconomowoc Golf Charity's mission is to provide graduates of the Oconomowoc High School golf team and employees in the golf industry with the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school. 

Through the generosity of golfers at The Memorial Cup, The Oconomowoc Golf Charity is able to fund two $1,000 scholarships, each awarded to a senior student-athlete, to pay for furthering their education at any accredited college, university, or technical school.

The Oconomowoc Golf Men's Scholarship - $1,000.00

The Oconomowoc Golf Women's Scholarship - $1,000.00

The Oconomowoc Golf Industry High School Scholarship - $1,000.00

The Oconomowoc Golf Industry Further Education Scholarship - $1,000.00

These four scholarships were established to commemorate members of Paganica Golf Course and the community of Oconomowoc. The Memorial List is never limited to anyone and is available to anyone that helped the community and surrounding areas in some community service capacity.

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be a Oconomowoc High School Senior graduating in 2023 
• Must be a current college student to be eligible for the further education scholarship.
• Must be attending a college, university, or technical/trade school for the Fall 2023 semester
• Must have played on the Oconomowoc High School golf team during their senior year and or worked at a golf course during High School.

Application requirements:

• A 1-page essay answering the following two questions: What will you do to further your education? How can this scholarship help you achieve that?
• A 1-page optional essay describing organizations you volunteered for and how they helped impact the community. 
• A letter of support from a mentor in the community of Oconomowoc
• An acceptance or enrollment letter for a college, university, or technical school for the Fall 2023 semester

Format: Single spaced, times new roman 12 pt font and submitted in .pdf/.docx 

Deadline: Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:59 pm.

Winners of the scholarships will be notified by June 5, 2023 and to be accepted at The Memorial Cup Golf Tournament on June 17, 2023.
